- notes: According to Gori (Bibliog. Foscol.) and Gemelli (Della vita e delle opere di U. Foscolo, Bologna 1881), in the issue of 12 copies, dedicated to William Stewart Rose, the author revealed his name and added a commentary "Clavis Hypercalypse艒s" to the text, whereas the 92 copies of the other issue are without the "Clavis" and contain the fictitous names of "Lorenzo Alderani Rainieri, I.C." and of "Giulio Riccardo Worth cav. sal." The present copy does not contain the "Clavis Hypercalypse艒s," but the prefatory letter to the Hpercalypsis is headed: "Laur. Aldernaus Rainerus J.C. Julio Richardo Worthio eq. sal." A comparison ot the "Corrigenda" on verso of last leaf with the corresponding passages in the introduction and in the text shows no discrepancies.
